You have to taste the ramen at Ippudo to fully understand why every day over 20,000 hungry people visit one of Ippudo’s 43 restaurants across Japan. This is the real deal. Hakata-style ramen to be slurped and savored.
What's not to love? JUst the long line. But patience is virtual and your taste buds will be rewarded with hearty broth and chewy, freshly made ramen.
You will find how they ranked No.1 business in the U.S. by Yelp in 2010.
Best ramen in New York. Great broth. Hard to get a spot but worth waiting.
I am a Japanese from Tokyo so I know many great ramen places. Here is one of the best place even in Japan...especially broth is great. Worth the wait!!
Ramen is an art. I haven't stpped here, but after seeing the photo I am SO ready for a bowl!
The wait for this place was unbelievable but being able to get a text message to know when your table is available makes it easy to go grab a drink somewhere while you're waiting to feast. They mainly have pork dishes so steer clear if practicing a kosher diet. The hirata buns which we had as an appetizer was truly amazing, probably my favorite dish. For my entree inhad the Shiromaru hakata classic which was also very good. I would definitely suggest this restaurant and will visit again upon my return to NYC go put in your name early grab a drink and eat until your heart is content.
